MANTAPART Yes, there are some differences- you can view all of our parts for your car
at www.mantapart.com also.
The 3100 is just a refinement of the 3.1 engine. They are the same bore and
stroke, but the cam is a roller version (not flat tappet- block is different
internally to mount them) and the heads are a much better port design with a
different manifold plenum too. Power is about 20 hP more for the 3100 and
later models have roller trunion rockers too. Hope this info is helpful,

THEIR SUGGESTION
We would start with intake and exhaust parts, and then do internals, you will
need the extra air flow in and out of the engine to make it run right with
the head work so you might as well get it done first. Let us know how we ca
